California’s SB 553 requires nearly every employer in the state to maintain a workplace violence prevention plan, train staff, and log incidents. Most small operators handle this with a binder they hope no inspector ever opens.

SB553Ready turns that into a workflow: plan intake, hazard assessments, training tracking, incident logging, multilingual acknowledgments, annual review reminders — and a one-click audit packet export when someone official comes asking.

The compliance logic lives in its own domain layer (scoring, plan generation, validation) separate from the UI, so it can move behind an API without a rewrite. Currently in pre-launch — the site is live and outreach is underway, built out from a client-side MVP.
